Bowen PTO Volunteer Form 2026 - 2027

Role: 1x Commitment Responsible for set-up and clean-up.

Open your home for one of Bowen’s most beloved adult-only traditions! We are looking for volunteers to host either the kickoff appetizer house or one of the final dessert stops for 6–14 guests, with party assignments kept a secret until the night of the event.

Help us plan and host our Halloween-season Fall Fling for the entire school community! Volunteers can jump in on event planning, activity and game coordination, decorating, or running shifts during set-up, game booths, treat stations, and clean-up.

Celebrate the rich diversity of our school community by helping organize our annual Multicultural Night and potluck! We are looking for volunteers to assist with event planning, cultural performances or display tables, food coordination, and day-of set-up and clean-up.

Plan and execute Science Day. (Chair Position) The committee works as a team to promote participation to students and families, create all marketing visuals (flyers, posters, save the date, invites, PTO weekly newsletter blurbs, etc.), monitor singups, order and purchase all supplies, and balance capacity and attendance.

The Spring Raffle is one of the two major fundraisers at Bowen, raising money through ticket sales. Event Chairs: Plan and execute the Spring Raffle while working within a specified budget approved by the PTO Board. Committee: The committee works as a team to secure raffle items from local businesses and families, and works with teachers to provide teacher/student experiences to raffle. Create all marketing visuals (flyers, posters, save the date, invites, PTO weekly newsletter blurbs, etc.).

Fun event and community builder for kindergarten - first grade, held at Bowen School in the gym or auditorium.

New this year! A lively and fun dance held in the gym for Fourth and Fifth Graders. Plan and execute all aspects of the Fourth Grade Dance within the budget approved by the PTO Board. This includes selection of DJ, snack food, decorations, coordinating set up & clean up, confirming with PTO Co-Chairs that a building permit has been obtained, managing event promotion, (including drafting content for the weekly PTO newsletters, stand-alone messages, flyers, and bulletin boards), secure parent chaperones and monitor the attendee list.

Help bring the Book Fair to life by joining the team as a Co-Chair to lead planning, vendor selection, and volunteer coordination, or as a Committee Member to divide up hands-on tasks and support set-up, event days, and pack-down. Both roles offer a fun way to support our school community and ensure our readers have a fantastic event.

Help us send off the school year with our End of Year celebration! We are looking for volunteers to lead event planning including booking the DJ, food vendors, and permits, manage promotions, or support day-of needs like set-up, and clean-up.
