The Bowen Elementary School PTO is a volunteer, parent-run nonprofit. Our mission is to bridge the gap between school and home — between city funds and individual needs. We keep parents connected and informed, give families a collective voice with the principal and school, and foster a vibrant, engaged community at Bowen.
What the PTO does
- Teacher, staff, and student support
- Building and grounds support
- Safety committees
- Event and logistical support
- Anything else the school needs during the year
All of it is funded by the Annual Fund and run by volunteers.

Meetings
PTO meetings are held monthly on Monday evenings at 8:00 PM on Google Meet — the link goes out in the weekly newsletter. Upcoming: Mon Oct 19 and Mon Nov 16. Everyone is welcome.
